I'm in the market for a new boat.  It will probably be 1-3 months before I find something that's 21' 85 mph and Blue / Silver....that I can afford.

Is BCB making a boat that will hit 85mph? I know they have a prototype that is suppose to be fast but not quite that fast unless you hang a 300 merc on the back of it. I know the next new boat I buy will be a 19' or 20'er. It is a pain trying to manuver a 21'er through the timber and we really the water doesnt get that rough around here to justify a bigger boat.

Eyre is the one their making. I don't plan fishing here as much in the future.  Mine is 19'3" so might as well get some more storage and deck

Millwood got pretty big on us and I bet Degray could get nasty - alabama river was pretty nastyone day but cedar creek was worst I've driven in. I sacrifice speed for comfort / casting deck / levelness either riding or fishing. Waiting on qoutes on my boat now from dealers haven't put it up locally or anything yet.

I'm looking forward to a ride in the new Eyra but you should also see about getting a ride in a Bullet while you're at it.  BCB and Bullet boats are both at the top of my list.  I bet you can get in the Bullet cheaper too.

No luck so far. I went to Rothwell last time home and they have a 21' 2007 Bullet with no outboard they wanted 23+ for it.  I don't like the layout or the looks.  I said 85 MPH but upper 70's or low 80's WOT is plenty especially the way I drive.  I'm also reconsidering keeping mine and having some maintenance done to the gel coat, get new fenders and seats, and maybe buy a newer motor. It was running 66 mph WOT on Felsenthal during our last Media tourney. It ran almost 72 mph that same night on Columbia when I went to boost someone's battery on Columbia. That's with a extra full tourney load. The motor alarm keeps going off and on so I have to take it somewhere and a have diagnostics run on it.  If I sell I am going to ask 12 for it and if I don't I will put 5 in it.
