WE ARE ready for memberships.
 First off, I would like to remind eveoryne that we are hosting the Corney Creek Classic in Berneice, La.  We had originally planned this hunt for Feb 2011. There were other clubs that were having hunts on or near that date and we wanted to accomodate them so we have asked NKC to change the Corney Creek Classic the first weekend in March, 2011.  We have not heard back from NKC "officially" but they have said it would not be a problem.  This will be an open NKC hunt.  We feel it is important to involve as many treedog people as possible.
 We will be giving away a dog box and a ruger 10-22 at this hunt as well.  Everyone knows what a great hunt Tony has put on in the past and we look forward to making it even better.

ARKLA was formed with the members, thier families and treedogs in mind.  We are going to have a benevolent fund and a schoarship fund for the members and thier families.  
The Officers and Board members are, Tommy Reshel President, Tony Walton VP,David Freeman Secretary/Treasurer, Johnny Burson, Phil Holtzclaw, Larry Whittington, Scotty Guillot, Jason Fortner and Rea Lucas.  
Membership fees are 15.00 yearly, 20.00 for a family and 5.00 for a youth membership.
 We are in the process of planning a get together in South Arkansas in September and as soon as the plans are finalized we will make that announcement as well.

 We are having a meeting on August 21st 2010 at 2:00pm at Ryans Steak house in Eldorado, Ar.  Come on by and enjoy some food and fellowship with us.
 We are excited about this club and the chance to share our sport with others.  We hope that you all wll join us and share this as well.  If you ahve any questions feel free to contact any board member.

I tried for the 28th Brother, but there were a couple others that couldnt be there so they voted on the 21st.

That sucks.  Then most of ours should work our because we are going to try and be opposite them.  But, you know how that works out!!
